She is the daughter of Giuseppe Torroni, who founded G. Torroni S.A. in 1982, and today helps her father with the trade in precious stones and antique jewellery items. “We currently have some beautiful Art Deco pieces in onyx, diamond and coral which are very typical of the period in the form of necklaces, rings and brooches. These are particularly sought-after by our international customers. We also offer some beautiful items by René Lalique, Georges Fouquet and Gustave Baugrand for the connoisseurs. When it comes to non-hallmarked jewellery, we have some lavish earrings featuring natural pearls with a delicate white tone”. In addition to these antique items of jewellery, the company also supplies precious stones: diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, rubies and natural pearls. “We set some stones to highlight their intrinsic beauty and in other cases, the stones are offered on their own. For the last 30 years, we have been working with a unique network of professionals to source our jewellery items and stones.” From stone dealers to sales rooms, the Torroni family has secured itself a privileged position within this market, a position that is essentially based on trust. “This is a real career of passion which has been handed down over the generations. We have established strong ties with our customers who include some of the large haute jewellery companies and jewellery makers from across Europe and the United States.Asiaisalsobecominganincreasingly important place for us,” Torroni reports. “In order to expand our range, we also offer some of our own creations featuring centrepiece stones set in rings, as well as jewellery inspired by antique models such as lavish chandelier earrings. From hallmarked pieces to our latest creations, they all have one thing in common: the rare beauty of the precious stones.” G.
